1 Course • 6 StudentsBiography
Nick Neutronz is a boundary-pushing producer, DJ, and sound designer whose credits include producing "Cinderella Man" on Eminem’s Grammy-winning Recovery album. With a genre-defying approach and a lifelong obsession with beat-making, Nick has collaborated with artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Lil Wayne, and UK ambient pioneers The Orb, and contributed music to productions by Broadway choreographer Sergio Trujillo.
Raised just outside New York City in Ossining, Nick’s journey into music began with pause tapes, turntables gifted by LX Paterson (The Orb), and a deep fascination with sequencers and drum machines. Over time, he developed a sound and philosophy he calls Terraform — a fusion of spiritually inspired harmonic textures and the raw pulse of terrestrial street and club music, spanning broken beat, hip hop, trap, dubstep, and DnB.
His signature Terraform sound has taken him around the world, performing in places like Algeria, Tokyo, and across Europe and the United States. Whether in the studio crafting high-impact tracks or behind the decks at underground club nights, Nick brings an ear for detail and an experimental spirit to everything he touches.
Nick’s sonic world-building is heavily influenced by science fiction, astral projection, and the immersive potential of electronic sound. His work has topped charts on platforms like Beatport and can be heard in both mainstream and experimental musical landscapes — from hard trap bangers to ambient soundscapes.
With a deep background in DJing, keyboard performance, and production, Nick Neutronz continues to shape the future of beat-driven music with creativity rooted in exploration.
