Rosemary Minkler is a pianist, composer, audio engineer, and educator whose multifaceted career bridges performance, production, and music technology. Born and raised in Waterbury, Connecticut, Rosemary discovered her passion for jazz as a young pianist at the Litchfield Jazz Camp, a formative experience that set her on a path toward a life in music.
She went on to earn her degree in Audio and Music Production with a concentration in Jazz Piano from Western Connecticut State University, attending on a full scholarship. During her studies, she worked closely with acclaimed jazz saxophonist Jimmy Greene and interned under veteran audio engineer Greg Tobler, with whom she continues to collaborate.
Now based in Stamford, CT, Rosemary is an in-demand freelance audio engineer, having worked with major clients such as NBC Sports and Morning Brew, and collaborated with brands like Nord Keyboards, Korg, and Antares Audio Technologies (Auto-Tune). She is also an active recording and performing artist, with multiple projects released both as a soloist and with her trio—available on Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp, iTunes, and Tidal.
Since 2019, Rosemary has been a dedicated instructor at Sound Collective, where she teaches keyboard performance and music production. With a deep knowledge of both the technical and artistic sides of music, Rosemary Minkler continues to inspire and empower the next generation of musicians and engineers through her work in the studio, on stage, and in the classroom.
